I’m Paul Baldowski. A writer, roleplayer, and husband—a split role that leans heavily towards the latter, with smatterings of the others interspersed. I’ve spent the last forty years roleplaying and longer watching the Doctor.

My earliest recollection of any Who is watching The Horns of the Nimon from behind the settee at my maternal grandmother’s house. Even now, I retain a dread fear of minotaurs from space, making normal day-to-day activities often difficult.

More than twenty years ago, I began writing and contributing to several books in the PARANOIA role-playing game series from Mongoose Publishing, including the main rules, Crash Priority, Service, Service!, STUFF, and the entirety of The Underplex (except for some much-appreciated snippets from the Traitor Recycling Studio).

I have written content for numerous other game systems, including Symbaroum, Rivers of London, Liminal, Trophy, Night’s Black Agents, Maelstrom, and The Terminator RPG.

Since 2016, I have written and published an array of independent game systems, supplements and adventures for Cthulhu Hack, The Dee Sanction, Sanction, 4thulhu and Divided Horizons.

My favourite new era Doctor is Peter Capaldi. My favourite original era Doctor is Sylvester McCoy. But, don’t make me choose.
